Family Involvement Ministry is the hub of NYA church of Christ.
The Family Involvement Ministry has three main goals:

Upward, Inward, Outward

Upward
We want to assist you in your personal spiritual growth, first and foremost. This includes helping you build a stronger faith personally, which can spur on a stronger faith in your family nucleus. We offer personal Bible study with our ministers, Bible classes, parenting classes or sessions and men’s and women’s retreats to equip you in developing an active, spiritually strong faith.
Inward
We want to assist you in strengthening the bond of Christian fellowship within NYA and other fellow congregations. The Inward part of our Family Ministry includes opportunities such as Brother’s Keepers support groups that meet once a month for Bible study, congregational fellowship luncheons and dinners throughout the year for holidays and events, Road Runners monthly activities for retirees or empty-nesters, men’s and women’s ministries, Lads2Leaders’ program for families with children, Summer Youth Series (SYS) program and our High F.I.V.E. activities, which are year-round fellowship-building fun activities for all ages.

Outward
We want to assist you in sharing your faith with the community. We believe that serving the community and sharing the gospel are Christian responsibilities, both personally and together as a congregation. We offer reading materials for personal evangelism, opportunities to go door-knocking, as well as one-on-one bible study. We also offer community outreach and benevolence opportunities such as, Vacation Bible School, Packs and Pencils school supply outreach, Trunk or Treat and other activities. We also offer opportunities to contribute in different ways to our missions in Chimala, the Philippines and other missions efforts both in Arlington and around the world.
